New Musicals Weekend 2017 - ARCHIVE
In April 2017, Pittsburgh CLO welcomed over 50 artists to the Next Generation New Musicals Weekend, a scaled-down version of the SPARK festival of new small-cast musicals. After a week of rehearsals and revision, four musicals -- three brand-new and one reimagined -- were presented to an audience of invited guests. In addition to the reading presentations, guests were invited to join CLO artists and staff at a New Musicals Boot Camp, post-show discussions, and a Songwriters' Showcase kickoff event.
