The exhilarating true story about a struggling shoe factory that will lift your spirits to high-heeled heights!

Charlie Price has reluctantly inherited his father's shoe factory, which is on the verge of bankruptcy. Trying to live up to his father's legacy and save his family business, Charlie finds inspiration in the form of Lola. A fabulous entertainer in need of some sturdy stilettos, Lola turns out to be the one person who can help Charlie become the man that he is meant to be. As they work to turn the factory around, this unlikely pair find that they have more in common than they ever dreamed possible... and discover that, when you change your mind about someone, you can change your whole world.

DARIUS HARPER (Lola) originally a New Hampshire native, Darius would attend the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC. He would go on to work for the Disney company both nationally and in Tokyo, Japan. Darius was an original cast member in both The Book of Mormon (Chicago), and the Kinky Boots 1st national Tour (Lola). Other credits include: Kinky Boots (Fulton/Hangar/Phoenix Theatre), Smokey Joe’s Cafe (Arkansas Repertory Theatre), A Grand Night for Singing (Goodspeed), and Grease (FLMTF - Merry Go around). HEATHER ANKLEY (Assistant Stage Manager) has been in the theater arts in Pittsburgh for over 20 years having the opportunity to work in a variety of entertainment mediums including Opera, Dance and Rock n’ Roll. Credits include: CLO’s 75th Anniversary Summer Season, Titanic, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, In The Heights, Brigadoon, Disney’s Newsies, Choir Boy, Scottsboro Boys, Wig Out!, Merchant of Venice, The Double-Threat Trio (World Premiere), Peter Pan, Once, Falstaff, Dead Man Walking, and Magic Flute.

KELLY HAYWOOD (Assistant Stage Manager) Pittsburgh CLO: Wizard of Oz, 75th Concert Celebration, In the Heights, Peter Pan, Mamma Mia, Million Dollar Quartet, Aida, Damn Yankees, South Pacific, Shrek, Monty Pythons Spamalot, A Musical Christmas Carol and 42ndStreet. Pittsburgh Public Theater: Slow Food, Barefoot in the Park, Little Shop of Horrors, Born Yesterday, Noises Off and True West Kelly has also done several productions with the Pittsburgh Opera and Ballet.
