CLO Academy Classes Are Now Online!
Following the leadership of our public health and government officials, all classes for the CLO Academy have moved online during the duration of the COVID-19 closure. During the closure, the class schedule will remain, just in a new online video chat style format. Links to the classes are sent daily to students and parents via email by 2pm.
Students: If you have not received your link for your classes today, please email cloacademy@pittsburghclo.org, or call 412-281-2234 to verify your email address.
The entire Pittsburgh CLO organization, including CLO Academy staff and faculty, understand the importance of bringing the joy of musical theater to you, especially today. As leaders in the arts education industry, paving the way for passion and innovation, we know we can do this … together!
At Pittsburgh CLO Academy, we believe in kids!
As Pittsburgh's premier training Academy for Musical Theater, we are dedicated to celebrating their talent, encouraging their dreams, and helping develop their abilities. By providing the finest dance, voice and acting training in a positive, fun-filled class setting, the CLO Academy encourages both an appreciation for musical theater and a well-rounded education.
CLO Academy’s enriched, diverse curriculum is taught by university instructors and experienced professionals in the industry.
Affiliated with one of the most respected musical theater organizations in the country, the CLO Academy provides students with valuable training that prepares them for real-world performance opportunities and professional careers.
Special connections in the community provide opportunities for commercial, film and television auditions for our students. CLO Academy students have the unique opportunity to audition and possibly perform on the Benedum Center stage during the Pittsburgh CLO Summer Season and at the Byham Theater in A Musical Christmas Carol. Academy students have performed in numerous CLO Summer Season productions including Gypsy, Mary Poppins, Disney’s High School Musical, Oklahoma!, Peter Pan and Annie Get Your Gun. This past summer, CLO Academy students took the stage in Grease, Peter Pan and Once.
Whether children dream of meeting friends who share their love for singing or meeting professionals who can help them pursue a career on stage, the Pittsburgh CLO is the place where their dreams can come true.
