The Backyard at 8th & Penn
With charm, wit, and heart, You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown explores life through the eyes of Charlie Brown and his friends in the Peanuts gang. This revue of songs and vignettes, based on the beloved Charles Schulz comic strip features musical numbers like "My Blanket and Me," "The Kite," "The Baseball Game," "Little Known Facts," "Suppertime," and "Happiness." Guaranteed to please audiences of all ages!

Some outdoor seating is available on a first come, first served basis. You are welcome to bring your own lawn chairs or blankets if you prefer.
This outdoor family musical is being presented in collaboration with the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust as part of its September Backyard Performances for RADical Days.

KATHERINE HARKINS (Sally Brown) - she/her, is overjoyed to be back with PCLO doing this crazy fun show! Previous CLO credits include: Susie Bones in Puffs and Martha Cratchit in A Musical Christmas Carol. She is a Pittsburgh native where she recently got her BFA in Acting from Point Park University. Love to her friends & family.
BENJAMIN KENT PIMENTAL (Linus Van Pelt) is a Pittsburgh native, who is proud to be back home performing again with CLO! Favorite Credits: Cliff in Cabaret (Blackrock Theater), Various roles in A Musical Christmas Carol ‘09/‘16-‘21 (PCLO), Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz (Palace Theater); Billy in Bright Star & Featured Tapper/Julian Understudy in 42nd Street (CCM). JOSEPH ROBERT FEDORE (Schroeder) is thrilled to be a part of this production! Pittsburgh born and raised, some of Joseph's past credits include: Memphis (Gator), Forever Plaid (Frankie), Jesus Christ Superstar (Judas), Roberto Clemente (Arriba, Arriba!), Scottsboro Boys (Eugene Williams), Rent (Angel). Joseph would like to thank his friends, family, and this fantastic cast and crew! Joseph studied Musical Theater at both Baldwin-Wallace University and Point Park University.
JASON SHAVERS (Snoopy) grew up thoroughly enjoying Snoopy's adventures in the movie Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown, so he is quite excited to bring this beloved beagle to life! Past CLO credits include: Puffs, A Musical Christmas Carol, Game On (Monty Price), Perfect Wedding and First Date. Many thanks to Billy, Robert, Alex and my fellow Peanuts for this experience and so much love to my family and friends! IG: @jayeant
ALEX MANALO (Associate Dir/Choreo, Swing) is thrilled to be a part of CLO's Charlie Brown. She is a graduate of Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she studied musical theater. Alex has worked with several theater companies throughout the city such as Pittsburgh CLO, Pittsburgh Public Theater, Arcade Comedy Theater, MTAP, Pittsburgh Playhouse Jr, RealTime Interventions, and City Theatre. Some of her favorite credits include Chloe (Bubbleboy), Alice (A Musical Christmas Carol), and Liat (South Pacific). When she’s not performing you can find her teaching for various arts programs or at the Philippine Center. Mabuhay! IG: @alexmanalo_
BENJAMIN GODLEY-FISHER (Swing) is thrilled to be back at Pittsburgh CLO, bringing this classic comic to the stage! Originally from the four-one-two, he is a proud alum of the Pittsburgh CLO Academy and Pittsburgh CAPA High School. Recent Credits: A Chorus Line, Saturday Night Fever (Laguna Playhouse); Newsies, Grease, Broadway Musical Celebration (Pittsburgh CLO). He recently Co-Choreographed Happily: The Musical, a new Off-Broadway show! All the love to Billy, Bobby, and the entire team for trusting me with this incredible opportunity. @benjigodleyfisher
