2026 Summer of Musicals Auditions

Auditions will be held in-person in Pittsburgh, PA - January 8-11, 2026. Callbacks will be held Sunday, January 11, 2026.

SEEKING:

Trained actors, singers and dancers for Pittsburgh CLO’s 2026 Summer Series.

PLEASE NOTE: Pittsburgh CLO does NOT accept video submissions/zoom auditions. Auditions are by appointment in person only.

You must be 18+ by January 8th, 2026, to be eligible to audition. 

Pittsburgh CLO is a professional Equity company; however, union and non-union performers are welcome and encouraged to audition. 

Appointments are made on a first come first serve basis. A waiting list will be started once all slots are full. 

PRODUCTION SCHEDULE: 

Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (Contract: SMTA)

First Rehearsal: June 15th, 2026
Tech: June 22nd, 2026
Opening: June 23rd, 2026
Closing: June 28th, 2026

Mean Girls (Contract: SMTA)

First Rehearsal: June 29th, 2026
Tech: July 6th, 2026
Opening: July 7th, 2026
Closing:  July 12th, 2026

When filling out your audition form, select one of the following categories for your preliminary audition.

What type of audition to sign up for: 

  • Character Actor: If you feel your strongest skill is acting/singing. 
  • Dancer: If you feel your strongest skill, is dancing.
  • Singer: If you feel your strongest skill, is singing.

WHAT TO PREPARE

Character Actor:

  • 32 bars of traditional or contemporary musical theatre song and be prepared to sing a contrasting cut if requested.
  • A headshot and resume

Singer Auditions:

  • 32 bars of traditional or contemporary musical theatre song and be prepared to sing a contrasting cut if requested.
  • You may be asked to dance a brief combination later in the day.  Please bring proper clothes to move in.  
  • A headshot and resume.

Dance Auditions:

  • Come prepared to dance a combination taught the day of your audition. 
  • You may be asked to sing 32 bars of traditional or contemporary musical theatre song later in the day. Be prepared to sing a contrasting cut if requested.
  • A headshot and resume.
