1. Opened April 30, 2009 on Broadway at the Marquis Theater.

2. 9 to 5: The Musical was nominated for 4 Tony® Awards in 2009, including Best Originial Score.

3. Original Broadway cast member Allision Janney won the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actress in a Musical.

4. The National Tour features Pittsburgh CLO alumni Dee Hoty (Violet Newstead), Joseph Mahowald (Franklin Hart, Jr.) and Madeleine Doherty (Swing) along with American Idol runner-up Diana DeGarmo (Doralee Rhodes).

5. Pittsburgh Native and Director/Choreographer, Jeff Calhoun first worked with Dolly Parton as a dancer in the film "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" shortly after the release of the hit movie, "Nive to Five."

6. 9 to 5: The Musical is multiple Grammy Award Winner Dolly Parton's Broadway debut as a composer and lyricist.

7. The last time Director/Choreographer Jeff Calhoun was at Pittsburgh CLO he was directing the first tour of the international hit Disney's High School Musical.
