Tom Atkins (Ebenezer Scrooge)

Mr. Atkins returns for his fifth Scrooge. His Pittsburgh Public Theater productions include One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest, The Chief, A Moon For The Misbegotten, Macbeth, Vikings, Cobb, The Steward of Christendom, Long Day’s Journey Into Night, The Weir, Drawer Boy and You Can’t Take It With You. On Broadway he appeared in The Changing Room and The Front Page; Off-Broadway in Whistle in the Dark and Long Day’s Journey Into Night. Television credits include “Rockford Files,” “Lou Grant,” “M*A*S*H,” “Law & Order,” “Homicide,” “Oz,” “Xena,” “Pennsylvania Lynch” and “Lemon Sky.” Mr. Atkins spent six seasons at Long Wharf and ten summers at Williamstown Theater Festival. Film credits include “Escape from New York,“ “The Fog,” “Creepshow,” “Lethal Weapon,” “Bob Roberts,” “Bruiser,” “Striking Distance,” “Night of the Creeps,” “My Bloody Valentine 3D,” “Drive Angry” and “The Chief” on DVD. Paul Domencic (Town Crier, Young Scrooge, Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come)

Mr. Domencic is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon School of Drama and has appeared regionally with Colonial Theatre, St. Michael's Playhouse, The Depot Theatre, St. Vincent Summer Theatre and as Duke Orsino in Twelfth Night at Mountain Playhouse. He has also appeared on several daytime soaps.

     
   

Jodi Gage (Caroler, Party Guest, Spirit at Window)

Ms. Gage returns to the cast of A Musical Christmas Carol. Most recently Jodi participated in SITI Company’s summer training program where she studied Suzuki and Viewpoints with Anne Bogart as well as other SITI members. Past credits include: Dutchman (Lula) Point Park Workshop, Crimes of the Heart (Meg) with Theatre Factory; Working (Housewife) in Hamilton, Scotland. Ms. Gage is a current M.F.A. candidate at Point Park University and is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association.

     
   
 
Lisa Ann Goldsmith (Mrs. Cratchit)

Ms. Goldsmith returns to Pittsburgh CLO! She has performed with many notable companies regionally and Off-Broadway, most recently as Veronica in God of Carnage at Theatre by the Sea. Lisa Ann has appeared locally with Pittsburgh Public Theater, The REP, Quantum Theatre, and Unseam’d Shakespeare. She is an SDC director, and has numerous SAG-AFTRA film and TV credits.

 

     
   
 
Tim Hartman (Charity Worker, Mr. Fezziwig, Ghost of Christmas Present, Businessman)

Mr. Hartman returns to A Musical Christmas Carol for the 20th time. Tim has been professionally acting, singing, writing, cartooning and storytelling all over the country since 1972. Though known primarily for his work on the stage, including recent appearances on Broadway in A Tale of Two Cities and the Tony®-nominated Finian’s Rainbow, Tim’s greatest joy is performing his own brand of improvisational, stand-up comedy, storytelling for children and family audiences. Billy Hepfinger (Fred, Businessman)

Mr. Hepfinger is performing in A Musical Christmas Carol for the second time! Last year he appeared as Topper. Other Pittsburgh credits include Three Sisters and Ivanov (PICT), Next to Normal (Carrnivale Theatrics), Hairspray (PMT), Young Washington and Nellie Bly (CLO Gallery of Heroes), and the 2011 Young Playwrights Festival (City Theatre).

 

     
   

Jeffrey Howell (Bob Cratchit)

Mr. Howell's onstage credits include Sunset Boulevard, Beauty and the Beast, Candide, Bells are Ringing, Mrs. Bob Cratchit’s Wild Christmas Binge, Chicago and Man of LaMancha. Television credits include “All My Children,” “The Young and the Restless,” “Equal Justice” and “The Oksana Baiul Story.” Films: “The Cemetery Club,” “Sudden Death,” “The Dark Half” and “The Bride in Black.” Work with the Pittsburgh Symphony includes A Tribute to Lerner and Loewe, Of Thee I Sing, Classical Rap and Peter and the Wolf.

 

     
 
 
Brian Knoebel (Peter Cratchit, Young Scrooge’s Schoolmate)

Daniel Krell (Marley’s Ghost, Young Marley, Businessman)

Mr. Krell has appeared in over 30 productions with Pittsburgh CLO and has acted in major roles in the area’s professional theatres such as the Public, City Theatre, Quantum, Bricolage, PICT, and the Playhouse Rep, to name a few and in regional theatres such as Clarence Brown Theatre, PlayMakers Rep and Gateway Playhouse among others. Dan is also a veteran of many films, commercials, industrials, and voice-overs. Up next: 1776 at the Public.

 

     
   
 
Erin Lindsey Krom (Missy Watkins, Martha Cratchit)

Ms. Krom is making her Pittsburgh CLO debut as Martha Cratchit in A Musical Christmas Carol. Mary Eileen Lamb (Fan, Alice, Laundress)

Ms. Lamb is returning to the cast of A Musical Christmas Carol. She recently performed as Penny in Hairspray at Media Theatre and performed alongside multiple Grammy Award-winning vocalist Rita Coolidge in the Philadelphia Thanksgiving parade. Regional: Crazy for You, Legally Blonde, Hairspray, Annie Get Your Gun, Cabaret, Baby. Film: The Perks of Being a Wallflower. BA Villanova University (Communication, Theatre).

 

     

 
 
 
Christina McCann (Caroler, Party Guest, Spirit at Window)

Other PCLO credits include 6 Gallery of Heroes tours. She recently appeared in Pittsburgh Opera’s Don Giovanni and That’s Life with Jewish Theatre of Pittsburgh. Christina has also worked professionally with Pittsburgh Public Theater, St. Vincent Summer Theatre, Frog Prince Theatricals, Front Porch Theatricals, and The Theatre Factory. Simon Nigam (Tiny Tim)

Mr. Nigam is making his Pittsburgh CLO debut with A Musical Christmas Carol! Simon is a first grader at Falk Laboratory School and a student at the CLO Academy.
 

     
 
 
J. Alex Noble (Caroler, Party Guest, Spirit at Window)

Mr. Noble is appearing once more on the Pittsburgh CLO stage. This summer he was seen in Annie, Fiddler on the Roof, and Sunset Boulevard. He has also been seen onstage with West Virginia Public Theater, The REP, Pittsburgh Musical Theatre, and Stage Right! J. Alex is a graduate of Point Park University.

Mark Tinkey (Tom Watkins, Dick Wilkins, Undertaker)

Jonathan Visser (Goose Vendor, School Master, Toy Train Vendor, Topper)

Mr. Visser recently moved to Pittsburgh after graduating with a Masters from the University of Tennessee. Local Credits: Bricolage, City Theatre, The Rep, PICT and Pittsburgh CLO’s Ruthless! The Musical. Regional: Dallas Theater Center, Casa Manana, Clarence Brown Theater, Shakespeare Santa Cruz, Hope Summer Repertory and PCPA.

 

     
   
 
Terry Wickline (Mrs. Dilber, Mrs. Fezziwig)

Ms. Wickline returns to A Musical Christmas Carol for the 13th year. Credits include: PCLO..The Sound of Music, Me and My Girl, Anything Goes, Hello, Dolly, Funny Girl, Nunsense (Reverend Mother), and Always…Patsy Cline. Favorite roles among her regional credits: The Importance of Being Earnest (Lady Bracknell and Miss Prism), and The Grapes of Wrath (Ma Joad). Most recently seen in the Chekhov festival for PICT.

 

     
   

Jake Curtis (Turkey Boy, Cratchit Child)

Mr. Curtis returns to his second season as Turkey Boy. Along with ample vocal awards and accomplishments, Jake was last seen in Fiddler on the Roof at the Benedum. He studies at Weir Middle and CLO Academy.

 

     
   
 
Jillian Ferguson (Cratchit Child)

Ms. Ferguson is a 7th grader at Propel East returning  to  Pittsburgh CLO after appearing in Annie. Past professional credits include: The Little Mermaid and A Lyrical Christmas Carol (PMT), House and Garden (PICT) and Annie (Theater Factory).  Jillian studies at Pittsburgh CLO Academy and Pittsburgh Musical Theater School.

     
   
 
Lucia Williams (Cratchit Child, Want)

Ms. Williams is a 5th grader at St. Louise de Marillac School (Upper St. Clair) and returns for her third show with Pittsburgh CLO. She was in Annie and Fiddler on the Roof this past summer. She is currently in her second year of studies at the Pittsburgh CLO Academy.

 

     
   
 
Mario Williams (Cratchit Child, Ignorance)

Mr. Williams is a 2nd grader at St. Louise de Marillac School (Upper St. Clair) and is making his Pittsburgh CLO debut. He is currently in his first year of studies at the Pittsburgh CLO Academy.

 

 

Creative team

Tim Gregory (Director / Choreographer)

Mr. Gregory is back for a fifth year directing A Musical Christmas Carol. He is the Founding Artistic Director of Provision Theater Company in Chicago, where some of his directing credits include Provision Theater’s Jefferson Award–Nominated productions of The Hiding Place, A Christmas Carol, C.S. Lewis On Stage, The Spitfire Grill, Shadowlands, and Beast On The Moon. Timothy is also the stage director for Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s annual holiday show Welcome Yule.

 

McCrae Hardy (Musical Director)

Mr. Hardy is returns to A Musical Christmas Carol after a five-year absence. McCrae was music director/conductor for the North Carolina Theatre in Raleigh, NC from 1984-2005 as well as numerous other theatres. Currently, he is the Conductor for The Triangle Youth Symphony. He holds the Raleigh Medal of Arts “for extraordinary achievement in the arts.” McCrae lives in Garner, NC with his partner, Eric, and their three children, Alex, Cristofer and Amélie.

 

Andrew David Ostrowski (Lighting Designer)

International credits include productions in France, Scotland, Sweden, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Germany, Ireland, The Netherlands, and Switzerland. National credits: The Asolo, The Arden, Madison Opera, Merrimack Rep., Virginia Stage, North Shore Music Theater, Spoleto USA, amongst others. Local credits: City Theatre, Pittsburgh Opera, Pittsburgh Public Theater, Pittsburgh Ballet, PICT, PNME, The Rep, and many others.

 

The stage manager for this production will be Fredric H. Orner. This production features original scenery by D Martyn Bookwalter.
