Duane Daniels (Bobby Bean)Mr. Daniels grew up in Cleveland and now lives in LA. He has performed in Dublin, Paris, Toronto, Atlanta, NYC, Rochester, Minneapolis, San Diego, San Antonio, San Francisco and Albany, but this is his first time in Pittsburgh. In television, Duane has been in Big Shots, Terriers, Fashion House, Tremors and played the High School Principal in Veronica Mars for two seasons. Recent films include First Strike, Covert and Fathoms Deep. Duane has won many awards as a director and is a director at the famed Second City in Hollywood and Artistic Director of Buzzworks Theatre in Los Angeles. He is scheduled to direct the feature film Blue Galaxy in 2011. Duane spends his summers teaching contemporary theatre to teenagers at Acting Abroad in France. Charles Peters (Buzz Maxwell)Charles began his professional acting career at age ten when he was cast from five hundred kids to star in a television pilot. Charles has appeared in numerous stage productions including Taming of the Shrew, Scapino, Barefoot in the Park, The Last Days Of Judas Iscariot and The Madwoman of Chaillot. He studied for two years with the legendary Adam Roarke at the Dallas Film Actors Lab and later moved to Los Angeles where he landed roles in feature films and television shows including a brief appearance on General Hospital. Charles joined the cast of Triple Espresso in 2004 and soon after was asked to be the permanent Buzz Maxwell in San Diego, California. |

Dane Stauffer (Hugh Butternut)Mr. Stauffer is an alumnus of the Playwright’s Center, as well as New York University and was a member of the country’s oldest Sketch Comedy/improv house, Dudley Riggs’ Brave New Workshop. Mr. Stauffer has directed for the Fritz Blitz Festival of New Plays (“the most rewarding marriage of script, performers and director”). A prolific playwright, he has had over a dozen plays produced in the last decade, most recently The Magic Pot: Three Tales from China, which made its NYC Premiere in July, to good notices in the NY Times, and Time Out. Recently he was seen as Howard Elroy, the Beauty Pageant host on TV (Wicked Wicked Games with Tatum O’Neal). He has also been featured on KTCA/PBS Technical Difficulties, and the Emmy award winning American Scream: Dudley Rigg’s first 30 years. His solo show “I’m ready to talk about my Narcissism” and his recent Cabaret revue,” When a Man loves a Diva,” have both played to critical acclaim and sold out houses. He is improvising weekly with “Smokehouse” at Second City Hollywood and wherever/whenever he can, also teaching improv to everyone from artists to kids, teachers to corporate execs. |
