For the past three decades, it has also been an industry leader in creating innovative arts education programs. From the inception of the CLO Academy in 1989, to creating the first High School Musical Theater Awards program of its kind in 1991 (Gene Kelly Awards), and co-founding Broadway’s Jimmy Awards in 2009, the organization has a rich history of nurturing the unique potential of theater artists. Today, the CLO continues to build on its successful tradition by announcing a brand new series of online programs. Students and adults alike will have special access to the teachings and insights of an impressive array of working professionals in all aspects of the industry.
