Pittsburgh CLO Academy's summer semester is designed with the active student in mind. The convenient 1-week & 2-week sessions allow even the busiest student to be able to have fun.

PRIVATE LESSONS

Private Lessons

image descriptionPrivate lessons are designed to enhance both training and confidence. You can select from our menu of options or design a class catered to your needs. Are you a CEO in need of some coaching for an upcoming conference speech?  Are you a dancer in need of some technical or performance coaching before a competition? Are you a singer but too shy to sing in person? Are you hesitant to speak in public and seeking more confidence?  Are you a professional or developing performer in need of voice lessons?  We offer versatile faculty to meet your diverse needs. We can design a private lesson specific to meet your needs.

Private Lessons are offered by appointment, once a week per session.

The CLO Academy offers private instruction in Voice, Piano, Dance, Acting & Audition Coaching, and Public Speaking for those students who would like to strengthen their technique in a supportive, one-on-one environment. 

  • All Private Lessons are offered in 30- and 60-minute sessions
  • Private Lessons are offered onsite at the CLO Academy, or online via Zoom.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Does my child need to audition for CLO Summer Camps?

A: Every child registered in our Summer Camps will be cast in the production. The directors give each child a special part in the show.

Q: We have a big family. How many tickets will each child receive for performances?

A: Due to building fire codes, the number of guests will be restricted. Information will be sent home with the student.

Q: Will I need to buy costumes?

A: Costumes are created out of simple things you probably already have, can easily obtain, or items we will provide.

Q: Where do I bring my child for camp?

A: Downtown Location: Camps are held at the CLO Academy at 130 CLO Academy Way. All students must be dropped off and picked up at the main entrance of the Academy and signed in and out with the security guard and camp interns in the lobby.

South Park Location: Camps will be held at the Amphitheater. Further instructions will be included in a welcome packet.

Q: Will there be a performance and where will it be?

A: Downtown Location: Due to building restricitons, all Downtown Location camp performances will have the number of guests restricted. Information will be sent home with the student.

South Park Location: Performances are held at the South Park Amphitheater. Ticket information will be sent as part of a welcome packet after you are registered for the camp.

Q: Is there any financial aid for summer camps?

A: We do not offer financial aid or scholarships for summer programs.

Q: What should my child bring with him/her on the first day of camp?

A: Campers should bring their lunch, a 3-ring binder with pockets, and a pencil. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing that they can move and dance in. No backless or open-toe shoes, please. Parents should have filled out the Pick-up and Drop-off form PRIOR to the first day. 

PAYMENTS AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Payment Options:

  • All payments are processed manually by our office once we receive your registration.
    • A $100 deposit per camp is due at the time of registration.
    • A one-time, non-refundable $25 registration fee will be applied per student.
    • Master Class payments are due in full at the time of registration
  • All summer camp registration must be paid in full two weeks before the start of camp.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Notice in writing must be received to drop a camp or transfer to another camp.
  • Camp drops are approved up to two weeks prior to the start of camp.
    • Drops processed in that time will receive a full tuition refund.
    • Drops received less than two weeks before the start of camp forfeit their tuition.
