MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET

Aug 08, 2017 - Aug 13, 2017

Benedum Center

A TWIST OF FATE BROUGHT THE WORLD ONE OF THE GREATEST JAM SESSIONS EVER!
MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET is the smash-hit, Tony Award-winning musical inspired by the unexpected recording session that brought together rock 'n' roll icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins. On December 4, 1956, this unlikely quartet converged on Sun Records in Memphis. They didn’t always get along, but when it came to the music, they created something special. Thankfully, Sun’s owner, Sam Phillips, flipped the recording switch and rock ‘n’ roll history was made. MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET takes you behind the music with a monumental night that explodes off the stage with 21 legendary hits that defined rock 'n'  roll, including: “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Walk the Line,” “Great Balls of Fire,” “Folsom Prison Blues,” “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On” and “Hound Dog.”
