Ben Bogen (Robertson Ay) is beyond overjoyed to be making his Pittsburgh CLO debut this summer! Susan Cella (Mrs. Brill, Bird Woman) is thrilled to return to Pittsburgh CLO for her 7th season. Clare Chiusano

Clare Chiusano (Jane Banks) 11, of Cranberry Twp, will be a seventh grader this fall. She started at the Pittsburgh CLO Academy in the summer of 2012. Shows include: Singin’ in the Rain, Seussical (JoJo), Hairspray, and Peter Pan Jr. (Tinkerbell). Clare is overjoyed to be part of Mary Poppins. J. Anthony Crane

J. Anthony Crane (George Banks) is quite excited to be making his Pittsburgh CLO debut. He Loves Pittsburgh! Mason Alexander Park

Mason Alexander Park (Queen Victoria, Miss Smythe, Miss Andrew) Mason first burst onto the small screen in Nickelodeon’s “iCarly” and has amassed a multitude of impressive credits spanning television, film and stage. He was introduced to Pittsburgh CLO through the National High School Musical Theater Awards, during which time he was featured on PBS’s reality series “Broadway or Bust.” He recently performed at the Kennedy Center in D.C. as the 2013 Presidential Scholar in the Arts for Musical Theatre, which featured him in the PBS documentary, “Becoming an Artist.” www.masonapark.com

Mario Williams

Mario Williams (Michael Banks) is thrilled to be playing Michael Banks this summer with the Pittsburgh CLO. He has appeared in the Pittsburgh CLO’s A Musical Christmas Carol the past 3 years. Mario is a fourth grader at St. Louise de Marillac in Upper St. Clair. He is in his third year of studies at the Pittsburgh CLO Academy. He gives a huge thank you to his teachers and his whole family for being his biggest fans!

Danny Bevins

Danny Bevins (Von Hussler, Ensemble) is thrilled to be returning to Pittsburgh CLO! Audiences may remember him from last year’s Legally Blonde, as Nikos, the flamboyant pool boy. Professionally, Danny has worked at The Muny, Music Theatre of Wichita, Artpark, and Pittsburgh CLO. Tom Helm (Musical Director) happily returns for his 20th Pittsburgh CLO season, having conducted more than 60 productions. His other adventures include conducting the Broadway productions of the Brigadoon revival, CATS, Me and My Girl, Les Misérables and Souvenir. Tom was musical director of the first national tour of CATS, Radio City’s 5-6-7-8 Dance!, and television productions of Mornings at Seven and Crazy For You. Tom supervised touring productions of Me and My Girl, Dora the Explorer, Diego Live, Rugrats and Madagascar. Fun Facts

  • In the early ‘90s, world-renowned producer Cameron Mackintosh approached Pamela (P.L.) Travers about acquiring the rights to produce a stage adaptation of her famous novel Mary Poppins. She was 94 at the time.
     
  • After several years of development, MARY POPPINS made its West End debut in 2004 showcasing parts of both the novel and the famous Disney film. In March 2005 Julie Andrews attended the show and regaled the audience of tales from the film version during the curtain call.
     
  • MARY POPPINS premiered on Broadway in 2006 and ran for more than 2,600 performances. The production was nominated for seven Tony Awards® including Best Musical.
     
  • In 2013 Disney released “Saving Mr. Banks,” starring Emma Thompson and Tom Hanks as P.L. Travers and Walt Disney. The film tells the story of Disney’s [ultimately] successful pursuit to obtain the rights to Travers’ novel.

Mason Alexander Park

Mason Alexander Park (Queen Victoria, Miss Smythe, Miss Andrew) Mason first burst onto the small screen in Nickelodeon’s “iCarly” and has amassed a multitude of impressive credits spanning television, film and stage. He was introduced to Pittsburgh CLO through the National High School Musical Theater Awards, during which time he was featured on PBS’s reality series “Broadway or Bust.” He recently performed at the Kennedy Center in D.C. as the 2013 Presidential Scholar in the Arts for Musical Theatre, which featured him in the PBS documentary, “Becoming an Artist.” www.masonapark.com

Mario Williams (Michael Banks) is thrilled to be playing Michael Banks this summer with the Pittsburgh CLO. He has appeared in the Pittsburgh CLO’s A Musical Christmas Carol the past 3 years. Mario is a fourth grader at St. Louise de Marillac in Upper St. Clair. He is in his third year of studies at the Pittsburgh CLO Academy. Tom Helm (Musical Director) happily returns for his 20th Pittsburgh CLO season, having conducted more than 60 productions. His other adventures include conducting the Broadway productions of the Brigadoon revival, CATS, Me and My Girl, Les Misérables and Souvenir. Tom was musical director of the first national tour of CATS, Radio City’s 5-6-7-8 Dance!, and television productions of Mornings at Seven and Crazy For You. Tom supervised touring productions of Me and My Girl, Dora the Explorer, Diego Live, Rugrats and Madagascar. He has also been music director of some 50 Paper Mill Playhouse productions, among other regional and national theatres.

Fun Facts

  • In the early ‘90s, world-renowned producer Cameron Mackintosh approached Pamela (P.L.) Travers about acquiring the rights to produce a stage adaptation of her famous novel Mary Poppins. She was 94 at the time.
     
  • After several years of development, MARY POPPINS made its West End debut in 2004 showcasing parts of both the novel and the famous Disney film. In March 2005 Julie Andrews attended the show and regaled the audience of tales from the film version during the curtain call.
     
  • MARY POPPINS premiered on Broadway in 2006 and ran for more than 2,600 performances. The production was nominated for seven Tony Awards® including Best Musical.
     
  • In 2013 Disney released “Saving Mr. Banks,” starring Emma Thompson and Tom Hanks as P.L. Travers and Walt Disney. The film tells the story of Disney’s [ultimately] successful pursuit to obtain the rights to Travers’ novel.
