Through dramatic sketches and musical vignettes, Pittsburgh CLO’s Gallery of Heroes program takes its 50-minute mini-musicals to area schools to educate and enlighten students about great historical figures such as Roberto Clemente, the Wright Brothers and Harriet Tubman. Highlighting the lives and accomplishments of significant historical figures, the Gallery of Heroes program offers an entertaining alternative to traditional lectures and books.

- STEEL, the personal stories of three generations of steelworkers, this mini-musical recalls the steelworkers' role in the Pittsburgh steel industry and the impact it had on the city. The region's rich history comes to life with the stories of immigrant families, Andrew Carnegie, Henry Clay Frick, and the steelworker's struggle to form a union.
- OLYMPIC SPIRIT: THE JESSE OWENS STORY, celebrates the determination and spirit of Jesse Owens as he triumphs over the evils of prejudice and racial superiority at the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin.
