 The
Gene Kelly Critics
The Kelly Critics Program was created
in 2003 in conjunction with the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
and its theater critic, Christopher Rawson to expand
the scope of the Kellys.
The
Kelly Critics Program provideed interested students with
the opportunity to develop critical writing skills by
reviewing other schools' musicals, having their writing
evaluated by newspaper professionals and seeing their work
published on the Post-Gazette website.
The
Kelly Critics were also invited to attend a seminar conducted
by Christopher Rawson at the Post Gazette where students
learned about writing reviews and enjoy a tour of the
facility.
