Master Classes for Students

Pittsburgh CLO Academy Master Classes and Workshops are one-time classes that allow students the opportunity to learn directly from working professionals. Past master classes have featured guest artists from  Broadway companies and current national tours.

  • Master classes are scheduled throughout the school year.
  • Participating ages and cost may vary depending on the content of the class.
  • You do not have to be an Academy student to attend.


3-Day Acting Intensive

3 Professionals. 3 Days.  3 Acting Styles. Join Pittsburgh CLO Academy for 3 days of intensive acting training! Hone your stage, audition and on-camera acting technique while working closely with three masters of the craft.  Take each class individually for $50 or take the package and save!
Students of all skill levels and backgrounds encouraged – you do not need to be a CLO Academy student to attend.

About Our Instructors

Catie Brown is a native of Butler, PA.  She holds a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from the University of Cincinnati and B.M. in Music Education from Slippery Rock University.  Catie currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Voice at Robert Morris University, an Assistant Professor and Accompanist in the Conservatory of the Performing Arts at Point Park University, and as an Accompanist for Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Drama.  She is also the Music Director at St. Fidelis Parish in Butler, PA.  At the CLO Academy, Catie teaches private and group voice, private piano, audition techniques, and musical theater classes.  Her public school classroom teaching, music directing, and accompaniment experience is extensive, having most recently performed for engagements with the Pittsburgh CLO, Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center, Pittsburgh Musical Theater, Pittsburgh Public Theater, R.W.S. and Associates, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, the rock band Kansas, West Virginia Public Theater, Keystone State Music Theater, The Pittsburgh Playhouse, New Castle Playhouse, and Slippery Rock University. She’s grateful for the opportunity to work with the fantastic students at the Pittsburgh CLO Academy.

Justin Fortunato graduated from Point Park Conservatory in 2011 with his BFA in Musical Theatre. He is an actor and director and has worked with companies around Pittsburgh including The Pittsburgh Public, Pittsburgh Irish and Classical Theatre, The REP, Primestage Theatre, Pittsburgh CLO, and St. Vincent Summer Theater. He is the co-founder and artistic director of Carnivale Theatrics, and the Associate Artistic Producing Director of Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School.



Kamille Neeley
Kamille began dancing at the young age of 3 and began her training in classical ballet until the age of 16. She participated in over 14 years of Nutcracker performances, Gizelle, and a variety of community performances. When she was 7 years old she explored avenues of Jazz, Hip-hop, Contemporary, Tap, ect. After competing throughout her
adolescence in various competitions and winning two national titles, countless awards and recognitions, she furthered her dance career into the collegiate level where she would graduate from Point Park University, Magna Cum Laude, in 2017 with a double Bachelors in Dance as well as Sports, Arts, and Entertainment management. During her
college years she auditioned for season 12 of ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ making it to the final stages of Vegas week, performed in the Sugarbowl during the halftime show, and appeared as a soloist during the Indian Film Awards. She has taught and choreographed many routines from Chicago to Pittsburgh and has recently been selected as a faculty member of Millennium Dance Complex and CLO. Kamille has had the pleasure in her lifetime of working for and under some of the most well-known dancers/instructors in the industry and hopes to continue to further her career in a professional atmosphere.

Tomé Cousin

An “interdisciplinary artist”, heavily influenced by his eclectic range of creative mentors: Susan Stroman, Martha Clarke, George C. Wolfe, Ruth Maleczeh, Wendell Harrington, Luigi, Fred Rogers, John Weidman, Bertrum Ross, Miquel Goudreau, Hector Mercado, Judith Leifer, Bill T. Jones and Arnie Zane, Hope Clarke, Pina Bausch, Theo Bleckmann, Blondell Cummings and Meredith Monk, Tomé Cousin views the divisions of the performing arts to be artificial.

As a result he has molded an award winning international career that includes collaborations in dance, theater, music, film, photography, television and literature. BA: Dance History, and Choreography, Point Park University and MFA in New Media Art and Performance from Long Island University. Mr. Cousin has composed over 70 original theater, dance, musical, new opera, film, and installation works for performance. Cousin is a member of the Lincoln Center Directors Lab.

David Cabot

David has been a professional actor and educator for the past 25 years. He received his BA in Theatre Arts from Point Park University(1990) and his MFA in Acting from the University of Minnesota(1993). He spent the 93-94 season at The Guthrie Theatre appearing in Othello, Peer Gynt, A Christmas Carol and A Woman of No Importance. He then spent 10 seasons in the acting company at The Children's Theatre Company appearing in more than 40 productions including 4 appearances as the Grinch in the Dr. Seuss classic. He was on the faculty of CTC's Theatre Arts training program for 9 years and taught Voice & Speech at the University of Minnesota for 4 years. After returning home to Pittsburgh he taught for 6 years at Point Park University and will soon start his 15th year at Pittsburgh CAPA 6-12. David has appeared at The Rep, Quantum Theatre, Pittsburgh Irish and Classical Theatre, barebones, Stage Right and St. Vincent Summer Theatre.

Jillian O’Neil is both a Director and Actress who attended New York Film Academy as well as Point Park University and has taught numerous acting workshops in Los Angeles, NYC and Europe. Jillian’s recent film, A Separate Life, has gained notoriety for winning such awards as the 2013 Direct TV Movie of the Week and also premiered at Cannes Film Festival. In 2011, Jillian was named Best New Director at the AOF International Film Festival. With over 25 years worth of experience both in front and behind the camera, Jillian has such credits to her name as Mad Men, Medium, Hot in Cleveland, All My Children, 6 Souls, King of the Road and many more. She has also been cast in numerous national commercials and international stage productions including Grease, Cinderella and Starlight Express (Germany and USA). She is currently developing an uncover cop TV show Western Avenue, also a teen talk show. Jillian is a member of SAG/AFTRA and Actors Equity. Currently, Jillian is Executive Producer and Director of “TTYS..The Teen Talk Show,” on FOX53.
