PNC Childrens School: Ages 3-10

Welcoming ages 3-10, the PNC Children's School focuses on developing self-confidence and exploring creativity through the fundamentals of musical theater.  Classes conveniently meet once a week. 

First Semester: September 5 - January 13

Second Semester: January 22 - May 19

Student School: Ages 10-18

Perfect for 10-18 year olds wishing to explore a deeper interest in musical theater and the performing arts field.  Classes meet conveniently once a week.

First Semester: September 5 - January 13

Pre-Professional School: Ages 10-18

Designed for students ages 10-18 planning to pursue a higher level of education and future career in theater arts. Classes are offered throughout the week.

Adult Classes

Pittsburgh CLO Academy offers Adult Classes and Private Lessons for those who would like to continue learning throughout college and beyond!

Master Classes and Workshops

Pittsburgh CLO Academy Master Classes and Workshops allow students the opportunity to learn directly from the professionals!  You do not have to be a CLO Academy student to attend.

New Horizons

A program for those with Physical or Developmental Disabilities

Performance art is an expressive tool for teaching social skills, body language and the mechanics of social interactions.  The CLO Academy's adaptive musical theater program combines fun activities with experienced faculty in a non-theraputic environment.

First Semester: September 5 - January 13

Private Lessons

Strengthen your vocal technique in a supportive, one-on-one environment.

New Students: To book private lessons, please call Principal Patty Maloney at 412-281-2234 x 104 to set up a time with available instructors.  Once your time is secure, you may register below for your selected class.

Returning Students: Please confirm your time with your instructor before registering below.

SAVE! Private Lesson students who are enrolled in additional classes at the CLO Academy will receive a special discount each semester.

Production and Performance

Each of these programs offers students an opportunity to work with a professional director, choreographer, and music director, and perform live on stage for family and friends.

2017 MT Production: SMILE

Open to all CLO Academy students ages 12-18 who meet class registration requirements.  This production class rehearses August 21-September 9, and performs Sept. 9-10, 2017 at the CAPA Theater downtown.
Auditions will be held on the first day of this production class, and roles will be determined soon after. 
You must be registered for MT Production, as well as (1) Ballet or Jazz and (1) College/Audition or Audition Technique class to participate.

2018 All-Academy Musical: ANNIE

Our All-Academy Musical is open to all students in 2nd through 12th grade who meet class registration requirements. All-Academy Musical will rehearse on Fridays and Saturdays January-March.  Performances will be at the CAPA Theater on March 16, 2018. Auditions will be held on the first day of this production class, and roles will be determined soon after. You must be registered for All-Academy Musical, as well as two additional Academy classes or a package to participate.
